If clicking on the mail address does not transfer you from your Internet browser to your mail program then copying and pasting the mail address into your mail software is another alternative.

You may also be able to set up your browser to act as a mail sending program. Browser and email programs are all different.

If all else fails writing down the mail address and then typing it into your mail program will avoid needing any links between the browser and email programs.
